This is a small scheme off work for first year A Level media students. This is a 4/5 lesson introduction to textual analysis skills and some A Level theory from the theoretical framework (Barthes and Strauss). Can be adapted to use any print based media product and can be used to help develop skills of textual analysis.

A full SOW for Component 1 Section A on these two set products. All areas of the GCSE framework are covered including: media language, media representations and media theory. SAMS and non-SAMS exam style questions are included, including a comparison essay.

A two hour lesson which introduces and explores the feminist theory bell hooks. This is a set theory for Eduqas A Level media but relevant to all study of media representations.
